Tippett could be a very solid player for the Bruins to consider pursuing. At 26 years old, the 2017 first-round pick is just entering his prime, so he could fit in nicely in Boston's retool. Furthermore, due to his skill, he would give the Bruins another solid option to work with in their top six and on their power play.

The shorthanded Boston Bruins extended their winning streak to six games with an impressive 5-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night.

The latter was an issue for Lohrei’s first 11 games. There would not be a 12th until Saturday, when Lohrei returned to the lineup. Charlie McAvoy, his former top-pair partner, did not travel with the Bruins to Toronto because of a personal matter.

During the second period, Zadorov laid out Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton with a massive hit along the boards. From there, Zadorov then dropped the gloves with Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann.

Tanev was stretchered off the ice Nov. 1 in Philadelphia in what was believed to be whiplash. The veteran defenseman is eligible to return from injured reserve Saturday against the Bruins, but will likely need to sit this one out.
