Royal Caribbean has changed several itineraries to remove Jamaica visits and more will likely be impacted in the next few weeks.

Pourmans on Water Street hosts Jamaica Hurricane Melissa relief fundraiser Wednesday, donating 10% of sales and collecting supplies for recovery efforts.

"Seeing the videos and the photographs is one thing, but actually being there in person and seeing the damage is quite another," a local senator said. "It's heartbreaking."

Rhapsody of the Seas is delivering dozens of pallets of critical supplies to Falmouth, Jamaica instead of a planned port visit.

Grey Bull Rescue, a nonprofit based in Tampa and founded by veteran and humanitarian Bryan Stern, has already flown more than 353 Americans out of Jamaica after airports closed and roads washed away. Stern says when every route out was blocked, his team made the call to act.

Fire departments across the state are encouraged to donate remaining equipment from Hurricane Helene efforts. Urgent resources include 4k-watt generators, chainsaws, protective clothing and gear, and medical supplies.
