Residents will be able to vote for their next elected officials on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at their polling place. Here is what you need to know.

The November election is here and there are plenty of races to pay attention to around Michigan, ranging from high-stakes mayoral campaigns to billions of dollars in public safety and school proposals that voters will be casting ballots on.

Voters will decide on school infrastructure funding, road maintenance and City Council representatives for Wards 1, 3 and 5.

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — Polls are open in Washtenaw County for the Tuesday, Nov. 4 election. Polls opened at 7 a.m. and will remain open for those already in line at 8 p.m. Those not yet registered to vote can register in person until 8 p.m. on Election Day at their city or township clerk’s office.
