The Bearista cup is part of Starbucks' holiday merchandise line, which is available starting Thursday, Nov. 6. Other Starbucks holiday-themed cups and tumblers range in price from $19.95 to $39.95. Among what's offered for 2025 is aa white tumbler decorated with gold ribbons ($21.95) and another tumbler decorated with a holiday puppy ($24.95).
Starbucks latest holiday merch drop caused quite a frenzy — and now the coffee chain is speaking out in response. On Wednesday, Nov. 5, Starbucks unveiled its latest, festive beverage container aptly called the Bearista Cold Cup, which hit stores in the early morning hours of Nov. 6.
Starbucks released its highly coveted "Bearista" cup — a 20-ounce glass cup shaped like a teddy bear, with a beanie-shaped lid and a green-and-white striped straw — on Nov. 6, along with its other special holiday items. The item sold out fast. Like, really fast.
On Thursday, the coffee giant released a series of holiday items which includes a 20-ounce glass cup in the shape of a bear. Known as the ‘bearista’ glass, the cup retailed for $29.95 and was available at Starbucks locations nationwide.
Starbucks is speaking out after the limited release of its holiday “Bearista Cold Cup” caused chaos and disappointment at several cafes, including some spots in New York.
