Lt. William H. Hott was killed in 1950 during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. Decades later, his family is finally getting the closure they've always wanted.

GALESBURG, Ill. — A Galesburg native who served in the Korean War and was missing in action for decades has been accounted for. U.S. Army Cpl. Paul Eugene Hoots was identified back in November 2024.
