Apple today released macOS Tahoe 26.1, the first major update to the macOS Tahoe operating system that came out in September.

After several weeks of testing, Apple has released the final versions of the 26.1 update to its various operating systems.

Users still running the old HomeKit framework now have a few extra months to update to the new Apple Home architecture.

Apple revealed a slew of major product updates on Tuesday alongside the debut of a new Mac desktop computer, the Mac Studio.
