Union members of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are picketing at O'Hare Airport on Saturday as the government shutdown enters day 39.
Airlines announced hundreds of flight reductions on the first day of the cuts, and airports warned of long waits and delays.
The federal government is ordering flight cuts at 40 major airports because of the shutdown – but it’s flyers in places like Pensacola, Florida; Moline, Illinois; Waco, Texas; and Shreveport, Louisiana who will have it the hardest.
