Akasa, IndiGo and KLM cancel several Middle East routes as volcanic ash from Ethiopia enters India’s airspace, triggering DGCA safety instructions.
KLM, which flies three times a day from the airport to Amsterdam, will cut one of those flights next summer, and take off just twice a day. The route serves as a link with the Dutch capital, and offers dozens of possible connections to destinations around the world via the major hub of Schipol airport.
