Smith-Njigba has 948 receiving yards through eight games, a league-leading average of 118.5 receiving yards per game. If he keeps up that pace over a 17-game season, he’ll finish 2025 with 2,015 receiving yards. That would be the first 2,000-yard season for a receiver in NFL history.
He’s now got 596 yards rushing and 626 yards receiving, making him just the third player in NFL history and the second ever in franchise history with at least 500 rushing and receiving yards through the first nine games of the season, joining 49ers legend Roger Craig and Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley.

He already has a team high four touchdown receptions this year and is second to only Deebo Samuel for the team lead in receptions and receiving yards.
