The November election is here and there are plenty of races to pay attention to around Michigan, ranging from high-stakes mayoral campaigns to billions of dollars in public safety and school proposals that voters will be casting ballots on.

Voters were asked to cast a ballot in several local community races, as well as weigh in on a few ballot proposals.

In Mayville, voters there rejected a proposal to renew and restore the non-homestead millage for Mayville Community Schools. Money from this millage is used by the district for its day-to-day operations that include student programs, staffing, school safety and services.

(FOX 2) - Election day has arrived in Michigan, and voters are able to cast their ballot either by going to their polling place or dropping off their absentee ballot to their clerk or drop box. Those who chose to vote absentee are able to track their ballots and make sure that it was received by their clerk.

SALINE, MI — Voters in Saline filled three seats on Saline City Council at the polls Tuesday, Nov. 4. Winners are incumbent city councilmember Jenn Harmount with 1481 votes, Jim Dell’Orco with 1274 votes, and Tramane Halsch with 1252 votes. The three winners will serve on the city council for the next three years.
