Burry, who became famous as the subject of the Michael Lewis book and subsequent movie The Big Short about his shorting the market before the 2007-09 mortgage crisis, has some new shorts in mind. He purchased put options in Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR), which implies he thinks that their prices will drop.

As Wall Street debates whether the US stock market is experiencing an artificial intelligence (AI) bubble or an AI boom, Tidal Financial Group Yieldmax strategist Michael Khouw says the AI trade has legs.

Meanwhile, Veteran analyst Stephen Guilfoyle credits Palantir’s growth to strong fundamentals, noting, “Sales are running wild as are margins. The commercial business is exploding. Cash flows are not just robust; they are enormous. The balance sheet is simply the greatest balance sheet I can remember seeing. The CEO is focused and aggressive.”

Palantir exposed Nvidia's biggest weakness -- its historically unsustainable valuation premium -- and it'll be on full display come Nov. 19.
