Police cited a Brooklyn man Nov. 10 after checking the license plate of his Ford van and discovering that the plate belonged to a Ram pickup truck. Also, a wanted Cleveland man was arrested Nov. 12 on Front Street.

PC Adrian Young was convicted of assault by beating last month following a trial at Westminster Magistrates' Court. The 48-year-old, of Spalding, Lincolnshire, has been sentenced to a 12-month community order, including a rehabilitation activity requirement of 10 days, and 150 hours' unpaid work.

British police published an appeal for information indicating that they want to speak to two people following what police called a “racially aggravated” incident in central London.

Police said they’ve received multiple reports of two suspects driving up alongside older people as they walk on the sidewalk and engaging in conversation with them before snatching jewelry off their necks and speeding off.
