Celtic fans booed and turned their backs to ruin the club’s pre-match Remembrance Sunday silence.

The entertainers on the bill include Sir Rod Stewart, Sam Ryder and Keala Settle, along with performances by the Central Band of the RAF, the RAF Squadronaires and the Band of HM Royal Marines.

Services of remembrance have been held across the West Midlands to mark Remembrance Sunday. They included a gathering at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas in Staffordshire, where hundreds of people gathered at the foot of the Armed Forces Memorial.

THE CITY fell silent to the sounds of cannons as thousands gathered to remember those who had died during conflicts over the years.
