Yale announced the successor to its highly rated Assure Lock SL today, unsurprisingly named the Yale Assure Lock 2. The second-generation lock is sleeker, smaller, and “smarter” than its predecessor.
The company that owns Yale locks will buy August Home, a DIY smart home security company, the businesses announced Thursday. August Home has expanded its line of smart locks over the last few years.
