Minnesota election results: Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger projected to win Senate District 47
WOODBURY, Minn. (FOX 9) - Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger, a Democrat, is projected to win Minnesota Senate District 47. With nearly 90% of the vote tallied, Hemmingsen-Jaeger had a 61%-38% lead over Republican Dwight Dorau. Hemmingsen-Jaeger will finish Mitchell's term, which runs through January 2027.
Minnesota has had a record-tying 6 legislative special elections in 2025. Any additional special election held before the end of the year would break the state’s record for most in a single calendar year.
