NBCUniversal will revive the NBC Sports Network on Nov. 17 on YouTube TV. It also will be available on Xfinity soon and will roll out to other pay TV distributors at a later date. As part of the agreement, all ESPN networks, ABC, Disney-branded channels, Freeform, the FX Networks, and the National Geographic channels are all available to YouTube TV customers. Additionally, ESPN’s new Unlimited Plan will be available at no additional cost to YouTube TV subscribers.

Disney and YouTube TV reached a new deal to bring channels like ABC and ESPN back to the Google-owned live streaming platform Friday.

NBCUniversal’s revived sports cable network will light back up on Monday, the company said, with YouTube TV as its initial distribution platform. Comcast’s Xfinity pay-TV system will follow “soon,” NBCU said in a press release, with other operators to be announced at a later date.

NBCUniversal is back in the game of operating a stand-alone sports network. The Comcast-controlled media conglomerate said it would revive NBCSN, or NBC Sports Network, and devote it to sports programming that usually streams on the company's Peacock service, including Monday-night NBA games and the "Gold Zone" Olympics whip-around show.
