Today is #InternationalSculptureDay and we’re looking at one of the sculptures we have on view in the museum’s atrium. This sculpture is one of volunteer Barb R.’s favorite objects in the museum’s collection: “One of my faves is George Rickey’s Star (L'etoile)...I try to start all my tours with it. I love that it is kinetic and reflective, as most of his sculptures are. I have my group look up at it and I ask them what they think it is or is supposed to represent, what it is made of.
