Sandstone and granite Fieldstone pillars I'm building. The stone is from an old mill. I love using reclaimed stone. So much history to it and in a way it feels your paying respect and honour to the men who first built it. This stone would have been originally collected from around the neighboring fields over 100 years ago. My favourite type of stonemasonry construction. I want them to look like they have grown right out of the ground. They are big pillars. 1 mt wide and over 2 meters high. #self
