Good evening, East Texas. Nothing Severe yet. We have continued to see showers and thundershowers move quickly through portions of East Texas so far today. Later tonight, we are expecting a cold front to allow more thunderstorms to move into and through East Texas. These are the ones that will likely become very strong to severe on their way through. Most of these should occur between Midnight and 7 AM. We will monitor them for you, as always. Please stay tuned!!! | KTRE-TV

Strong storms continue to move through East Texas tonight and are moving toward the East at 25-35 mph. Frequent lightning, very heavy downpours, some gusty winds, and even some small hail are possible. None of these storms are severe at this time, but we will let you know if that does happen.
