The Premack Principle is where highly desriable behaviour (to your dog) is used as reinforcement. 🐾More specifically - a highly desirable behaviour (e.g. playing fetch in the river), is used to reinforce less desirable behaviour (e.g. Stand/Wait). 🐾The great thing about Premack is you can use it all the time. There are lots of opportunities every day. Its great for engagement, impulse control & mental exercise.🐾The key is to set your dog up for success. Clear communication & achievable goals
