Our Naturalist, Annie, captured one of the many ways a dolphin manages to catch their food. By tricking fish into the "safety" of shallow water, our dolphin population will often use their tail to smack and stun their prey. After only a few swift "slaps," our friend here will quickly locate and catch their stunned meal before it can even realize what has happened! While this can be a social behavior consisting of two or more dolphins, you can often find them catching food like this by themselves
