Another little eastern long-necked turtle has come through the hospital after a member of the public found it on the road with a fairly significant chunk of its shell snapped clean off over the back left leg. It had been run over hard enough that a bit of fatty tissue had been pushed out too — the vets gave me the go-ahead to remove that, and thankfully it cleaned up well.
