October 19, 1986: On this day 38 years ago, the Los Angeles Raiders defeated the Miami Dolphins 30-28 in front of 53,421 fans at the Orange Bowl. The Raiders were led by running back Marcus Allen, who scored three total touchdowns. Since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, the Raiders were the only AFC team with a winning record against the Dolphins at the Orange Bowl. (1970-1986).
