I believe that this skew chisel is making a comeback and about time there were far too many turners put off using a skew by fear mongering. I see lots more posts with turners using a skew now👍. A standard 1” skew (mine is Ashley Iles) is possibly the best possible choice for a planing cut. Don’t get me wrong there are many variations of tool that are excellent and produ
