Today I made lemonade for Ruby and handed her a glass to carry to the table. She did an amazing job of not spilling a drop and I was so proud. When she got to the table, she set it down and explained, “momma! You made hot lemonade!” We both erupted into laughter as I realized I had indeed used hot water.
