On November 7, 1985 the WWF’s 2nd ever pay-per-view titled “The Wrestling Classic” took place in front of 14,000 fans at the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, Illinois. In the main event, Junkyard Dog defeated Randy Savage by Count Out in the finals of a 16-man tournament dubbed “The Wrestling Classic”. On the undercard WWF World Heavyweight Championship Hulk Hogan defeated “Rowdy” Roddy Piper by DQ. The event also included a fan competition for a Rolls-Royce. This segment was cut from the Coliseum

On July 30, 1983 WWF Championship Wrestling aired on the MSG Cablevision Network from a sold out Madison Square Garden in New York City.
