In celebration of 40 years of “blessing the rains down in Africa”, the Australian Army Band Sydney have payed tribute to classic 80s rock band Toto by performing their smash hit, Africa. Released in 1982, the song quickly rose to the top of the billboard charts and as at August 2022, has over 785 million views on Youtube. Challenging pop music stereotypes with ambiguous lyrical content and soaring synth hooks, Africa is arguably one of the greatest and most recognisable pop rock songs of all tim
