Meet Carita! Carita is the Field Operations Directorate Liaison in our Region 8 office. She previously worked on the Incident Management Assistance team that is made up of 12 people who deploy at the start of a disaster. She was responsible for tracking resources and identifying needs. "We're often the first ones on the ground. Sometimes, we stage in an area before we even know if it's going to happen because we want to be there on time.
