These 2 baby horses are 6 month old “twin” filly’s that are best friends. Seen here, they have just been weaned from their mother Tango, who raised them both after Annie’s mother died while giving birth to her. Tango’s baby is Luna, ( the dark baby) and Annie is on the left. Both babies were born May 11 just minutes apart from each other. Watching these two baby horses grow up together with one mother has taught me a lot. Even though I am a facilitator during our equine therapy sessions, I sometimes have a hard time processing my own feelings.
