Here's some bear anatomy and shot placement illustrations I did years ago for a client. Most times I'm illustrating deer or elk, and anyone who's field dressed one of those animals knows that their organs lay right up against their belly hide. Bears can be decieving though, as their fat and longer hair can trick you into thinking that their vitals are larger than they really are.
