The Commer TS3 “knocker” is a unique opposed piston engine and it Sounds Good! The three-cylinder, six-piston, rocker drive two-stroke with a blower for scavenging makes an incredible noise, as evidenced by this clip from goodwinmadhouse on YouTube. Introduced for use in commercial vehicles in 1954, this model was discontinued in 1968 when Chrysler took over the Rootes Group.
